Easter Weekend 2010

I know! I know! It has been over a month since my last post. We have been so busy. We stay on the road! We have had a lot of weddings tuff with Brad and Vania's wedding coming up this weekend. We are so excited about it. Emma and Hagan are flowergirl and ringbearer. Emma can't wait! She has been talking about it for months! They are going to be so precious!! We had a wonderful Easter weekend. We went to the lake and hung out and fished. Emma caught her first fish all by herself with no help! She was so proud and so was daddy! We came back and had Easter lunch with Jason's grandparents and the kids hunted Easter eggs. They had a ball! We are now planning the busy week ahead with all the wedding stuff. I just wanted to share some Easter weekend pics with you!

Our 1st ER visit

Yes the title is correct! We had our first ER visit last night. Looking back now it is halfway humorous. Hagan stuck a bead off of one of Emma's bracelets up his nose. We tried to get it out but didn't work! So we took him to the ER. Thank goodness Marcus was working there last night. He was amazing and got it right out. $200 and a popsicle later...all is well in the world! I have to say Hagan was the cutest little thing in his gown!! A big thank you to Mr. Chase and Mrs. Courtney for keeping Emma entertained while we were at the ER!

Snow Day in Athens

Wow! The snow is just beautiful outside! I couldn't believe how hard it was coming down last night. We had a ball making a snowman and the kids were just so excited about the snow. This morning, we went sledding and rode around campus taking pictures of the beautiful snow. We never imagined that would be a site we would see after moving back to Athens from Arkansas. Everything is just beautiful! Too bad it is all melting back off this afternoon.

Happy Birthday!

Daddy's birthday is Sunday and we love celebrating birthdays. Emma asks everyday when her next birthday is going to be. We are going to Statesboro this weekend to celebrate my daddy's birthday. Emma made him a special video for his birthday!

Ringling Bros Circus

We had a great time at the circus. The kids loved it! Hagan loved watching all the animals but could've cared less about watching anything else. He just played with his motorcycle the rest of the time. Emma loved every part of the circus. She was very concerned about the acrobats high up in the air. We had an absolutely wonderful time at the circus and it was a wonderful experience.

Not an everyday occurance...

Since Hagan entered this world 2 years ago..Emma has been (how do I put this?) not a fan of being a big sister. Not that she doesn't love her brother, he just rocked her world so to speak when he came into this family. Emma was the first grandchild on both sides and he just disrupted her world. She is slowly coming around. Hagan loves his big sister and would follow her anywhere. She worries about him when she thinks he could get hurt but she doesn't want him to have anything to do with her stuff. There are good days and bad days but we are seeing glimpses of hope. Tonight I walked in Emma's room and her and Hagan were laying in the bed watching a movie together. It was the sweetest thing. I hope they grow into great friends!

A Lazy Day at Home

We have enjoyed a lazy day at home. We got up this morning and cooked breakfast. Jason and I went to the gym for a workout about 10:30 and then headed home for lunch. We got the kids down for a nap about 1ish and enjoyed a movie..just the two of us. We smoked some ribs for supper (which were amazing) and just played with the kids. They were so funny running around here and Emma thinks she can pick Hagan up like I do. I keep telling her he's just as big as she is! You would say it wasn't a very eventful day but for us it was a wonderful lazy day at home! :)
