Go Dawgs! Sic Em!

I think this time of year is when we miss Athens the most. Everyone is gearing up for football season and dusting off their tailgating gear. We will have to sit in Arkansas with our sad faces on and watch all the games from the tv. Ahhhh! Now how are the refs going to hear me from here?? I guess Jason will be the one keeping me contained here in Arkansas when the bad plays are made. What makes it worse is this could be the dawgs year and we will be here in Arkansas. Can you picture my sad face right now? Well we are still gearing up our future bulldogs for the upcoming game next week. We have been practicing the cheer and wearing the gear. Hagan is ready to go:

Emma's First Teeth Cleaning

This is why blogging is so great...I get to include you all in these fun milestones! Emma had her first teeth cleaning today. Needless to say it was dramatic and traumatizing but we got through it and she did WAY better than I thought she would. I think I needed a sedative or something after the trip! Jason being gone this week is starting to take it's toll so I'm headed for a MUCH needed girls night tonight. Ashley is coming to babysit the kids so I can get out for a bit. They love her so it works out great. Thank goodness tomorrow is friday and I'll have my husband back! Here is Emma getting her teeth cleaned and showing off her pearly whites when they were done!

We Miss You Daddy!

Jason is on a business trip right now and I am oh so jealous! We are surviving here but we sure wish we were in good ol Georgia with him! Emma asks every day where is daddy. "We sure do miss you daddy! Please come home soon! We are having fun here with Mommy but it sure would be a lot more fun with you here!"

Time flies when you're havin fun!

Gosh...so much to tell. First off, we have hit a MAJOR accomplishment. Last monday we started working with Emma to get her to start going to sleep by herself at night. We knew this would be no easy feat. The first night she cried till midnight. It was so hard listening to her but we knew it was for the best. The second night she fell asleep in 5 minutes! We were so proud of her! Well after about a week of going to bed on her own I took her to Toys R Us and let her pick out a present for being such a "big girl"! Here is Emma with her new present that sleeps with her every night!


Today is Emma's first day of school! She is in the 3's class this year! I can't believe how fast time has flown. She starts gymnastics and dance in September! Well here is Emma all ready for school this morning!

Hagan is Everywhere!

Hagan is into everything right now! He is crawling and standing all over the place!! We love watching him go! We thought you all would enjoy watching him crawl also so we took a video of him crawling now.

Emma's 1st Haircut

I forgot to put this on the blog last week but we took Emma to get her first haircut. She was not too thrilled but neither was I. I hated cutting her hair but it was getting to a point where it needed to be trimmed. Anyways I thought I would share this big day with all of you!

Painting Pottery

I took Emma out for a treat today. We went and painted pottery. We had the best time!! It was so much fun. Emma picked out a star jewelry box to paint. She then picked out her color. It was so funny...she started mixing he paint with mine so you can imagine how her star turned out. She said "Mommy this is so much fun and my star is so beautiful." Of course I told her it was the most beautiful star in the world. After we left she wanted to know when we would be going back. I told her very soon!

Rub a Dub Dub

Bathtime is always an interesting event around our house. It usually involves Emma in my bathtub taking a bath with me but this time she wanted to take a bath with her brother. I still can't figure out why Hagan loves her so much cause she is so mean to him! You can see in the pictures she is pouring water over his head. We are also dealing with her screaming, hitting and pushing him. Oh it's fun times at the McCormick house right now. I keep hoping this is just a phase and she will start being nicer to him. Hagan is now pulling up on everything. When we put him down at night he just wants to stand up and bounce in his crib. This also makes for a hard bedtime routine because he doesn't want to go down anymore. He just wants to play! I can't believe how much my children are growing. Emma starts the 3 year old preschool next week and will be starting dancing and gymnastics in the fall. Time flies way too fast! She has her 3rd birthday coming up next month which should be lots of fun...i think Cinderella might make a visit to her party! I will try and do better with my posts. It gets harder and harder to keep up with them. We stay so busy!
