Little Blessings

I have had one of those incredibly perfect weekends that has made me sit back and reflect on all the blessings God has given me. First, Jason and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary on friday. What a wonderful 5 years it has been! I am so blessed with a wonderful and loving husband who supports me in anything I do. I look forward to many more wonderful years. Yesterday we went to the park in the morning and let the kdis play. We rode the train, playing on the swings, and went down the slides. We went to lunch and then headed home for nap time. After nap time we decided to go for a visit to the Alma waterpark. I wouldn't exactly call it a waterpark but it was fun for the kids. The water was FREEZING! It took us a while to get used to the water! We stayed for about an hour and a half and then came back home to grill out for supper. We took the kids for a walk in the wagon and then came back and ate dinner outside. The kids have had a blast this weekend!! Now I'm fixing to get ready to head to church. I have a lot to thank God for this morning. He has given me so many little blessings!

Summer, Summer, Summertime!

Well it's officially summer!! Our weekend started off kind of crazy!! Emma stuck her hand on the hot eye on the stove and it burnt it up pretty good. We freaked out a little but she is doing much better now. It has been beautiful this weekend so we have spent most of it outside. We blew up a little kiddie pool which we have enjoyed so far. The kids definitely thrive outside and Hagan would stay there if he could. We had a bunch of people over last night and introduced them to a good ol fashioned South Georgia Low Country Boil. It was a lot of fun. We are really lucky to have such great friends here! It makes it a lot easier when we live so far away from family. I hope everyone had a great weekend. We are looking forward to lots of fun times this summer!

Hagan's School Picture

My sweet Hagan had his school pictures done 2 weeks ago. I can't believe my baby is a year and half old!! He is getting so big! The last day of school is thursday so I guess friday marks the beginning of summer..pool time! Emma starts swim lessons next monday. I am hoping she learns to swim and then I won't have to hold her in the water all summer. The family left yesterday after sitting in the airport the entire day cause of the bad weather in Atlanta but I'm glad they made it home safe even if it was at 2am. Hope everyone has a great rest of the week!

Emma's Dance Recital

I am so proud of my little girl! Her dance recital was Saturday night and she did AMAZING!!! She was so exited getting ready and we when we got there all the disney princesses were backstage waiting on them. She was so excited!! She loved dancing on stage. We were all so proud of how good she did. If you haven't seen the video of her dancing check out one of my earlier posts to see my little dancer in action. It was the cutest thing! We will definitely be doing dance again next year and she can't wait!

Gus's Visit to the Fort

Gus visited Ft Smith last weekend. The kids had a blast while he was here. We love it when family comes in town!! Thanks Uncle Gus for making a trip out to see us!!

Emma's Dance Recital- Dress Rehearsal

The family made it in today around noon and it has been quite busy since then. We had Emma's dress rehearsal tonight for her recital. She did amazing!! Here is her ballet routine...I thought you all would enjoy this!! Have a great weekend!

It's been a while....

Well our lives have been crazy busy but that doesn't excuse my lack of posting. The kids are doing great. Emma is 4 months from being 4! Wow..time really flies. She is involved in quite a few things around here. She is in dancing where she does tap and ballet, gymnastics, and golf. Her dance recital is in a few weeks on May 21st and I can't wait to see if she will actually perform. She is getting so grown up! She stills tests us every day with her 3 year old attitude but I see glimpses of hope every now and then.

Hagan is our little linebacker as we like to call him. He will be 17 months this month and is growing like crazy. We went to the doctor the other day and he is 27 lbs and 33 inches long. He is going to pass Emma soon! He is starting to talk a little. He can say Momma, Daddy, Emma, Thank You, Bye Bye, Night Night, and his favorite tv show Super Why which is pronounced "Poo Why" by him. He is still the sweetest thing and such a loving child. He is very curious though and into EVERYTHING!!
