It's been a while....

Well our lives have been crazy busy but that doesn't excuse my lack of posting. The kids are doing great. Emma is 4 months from being 4! Wow..time really flies. She is involved in quite a few things around here. She is in dancing where she does tap and ballet, gymnastics, and golf. Her dance recital is in a few weeks on May 21st and I can't wait to see if she will actually perform. She is getting so grown up! She stills tests us every day with her 3 year old attitude but I see glimpses of hope every now and then.

Hagan is our little linebacker as we like to call him. He will be 17 months this month and is growing like crazy. We went to the doctor the other day and he is 27 lbs and 33 inches long. He is going to pass Emma soon! He is starting to talk a little. He can say Momma, Daddy, Emma, Thank You, Bye Bye, Night Night, and his favorite tv show Super Why which is pronounced "Poo Why" by him. He is still the sweetest thing and such a loving child. He is very curious though and into EVERYTHING!!

Easter 2009

Well, we had a whirlwind visit! It seemed like it was so short!! We had a great time visiting our families. Hagan has changed so much and it has been since Christmas since a lot of our family has seen him. Emma loved all the attention and kept saying on the way home that she didn't want to go back to our house. I guess our house isn't as much fun as the grandparents. Emma and hagan both got lots of goodies for Easter and Emma LOVED hunting the Easter eggs. Hagan just wanted to throw the eggs. It was so much fun watching them this year!

Jason and I now have a nephew! We are so excited!! Hamilton Britt arrived yesterday and we are so anxious to see him! Emma is ready to go see the baby. Congrats John and Holly! We love you! Have a great week everyone!

Emma's School Pictures

Emma had her school pictures done last week for Easter. I thought they turned out cute! We will be heading to Georgia this week so please pray as we are on the road with 2 kids for 14 hours. Pray for safety and sanity!! Everyone is doing well around here and we are all over our sicknesses thank goodness. Sorry it has been a while since my last post. Things have been really crazy lately!! Hope everyone is doing well and has a great Easter!

Devils Den

We went to Devils Den State Park on Saturday to meet some friends that were camping there. We had a blast! We got to Devils Den around lunchtime and had lunch and then went for a hike to see the Falls and the lake. The kids were definitely in their element and loved it! They just ran around and we played games. That night, we roasted hot dogs and then had smores. We loved every minute of it especially getting to hang out with our friends and all the kids had fun hanging out with each other. We can't wait to go back! What a great weekend!

Emma loves dancing and can't wait to go every monday. She does tap and ballet but I have to say tap is her favorite just like her mom! They had parents visitation on Monday so since mom and dad were here I took mom to watch her dance. Of course she would barely dance with Neena there but the last time they had parents visitation she did great! I can't wait for her dance recital in May. It is going to be so cute!! Crazy Daisies!

One of the terms I use around here quite often is Crazy Daisies. This is what I call my kids when they are being silly..which is quite often! The other day Emma was in my office and she started singing God Bless America. Emma sings ALL the time. I never know what she is going to sing but this time I had the video camera right beside me so I got her on video singing. Hagan is fully mobile now and walking everywhere. He is a big climber! He climbs on EVERYTHING!! The other day Jason and I were in the den and Emma and Hagan were playing in Emma's room. They were laughing and squealing. We were like "what in the world are they doing?" Well I captured it on video so you all could see our Crazy Daisies!! Hope everyone has a great week! Mom and Dad we can't wait to see you tomorrow!

The Children's Museum

We went to visit our friends Josh and LaShay this weekend in Hernando, MS which is right outside of Memphis. We had a great time just hanging out with them. On saturday, the guys took Emma, Hagan and their little boy Aidan to the children's museum while Lashay and I were doing a Castles and Crowns party. They had a blast and Jason said the museum was awesome! It started snowing saturday and by sunday morning their was a beautiful blanket of snow on the ground. We were worried about getting home but by 10:30 the snow started melting so we decided to head on home. We made it fine and it's back to the real world this week. I hate mondays!! That means 4 more days till friday! It is supposed to warm up towards the end of this week. I sure hope so! I am ready for spring!! Have a great week everyone!
