The kids and I had a little mini photo session today. They are so stinkin cute!! I love photographing them! I think they have the most beautiful eyes! I thought I would share some of the pics. Emma was having a little tea party so I snapped some of that too. There is water all over my coffee table now but it was cute taking pictures of it!

A busy busy weekend!
We have had a pretty busy weekend. We went to the Shareholder's reception for Baldor friday night. It was pretty fun. Saturday I went to listen to Iva May speak at church and then spent the rest of the day grocery shopping. So the kids have kind of been carted everywhere this weekend. Jud and Kathryn came over to grill out so Cadon and Emma had some play time. We went to church today and then came home and I got an much needed AMAZING nap. Ahhhh!!! It was so nice. Not much else is new with us. Sorry..short blog for today! :) We miss everyone!

Emma- My smart little girl
Well, I installed a new dvd player in the car that hangs on the front of Hagan's seat where he can watch baby einstein. Yes, I caved but the sound of silence going to town was great!! He loves his exersaucer and plays in it all the time so I am able to get some things done around the house.
Emma has school today. We were on the way to school this morning and she kept messing with the door handle by her carseat. I said "Emma please stop messing with the door handle." She said "Yeah thats dangerous!" I said "you are right!" Too funny! She remembers everything I tell her. She is so smart! They are doing student evaluations at school and they have to pass all the requirements to move to the 3's class. They were going through all the requirements and Emma passed them all with flying colors. They said Emma that was very good. She said "I know, I'm so smart!" When they told me that I just died laughing. I said she never hears that..haha!!
I have such a busy day ahead of me today. I am doing 2 bible studies and one is from 12-2 today and then I have to go decorate for a speaker that is coming to our church from 2:30-4:30 and then I have a welcome party for all the new provisionals for Junior League from 5-7. I am also supposed to have a girls night with my sunday school girls at 6:30 but I think I am going home to crash instead!
Emma had her school pictures last week and I picked them up yesterday. They were so cute even to be a "school picture". I thought I would share it with everyone.

My sweet little angel
Emma had school today so it was just Hagan and I at the house. He has been so good today! I went to lunch with my friend Kathryn and he wanted to cry in the Restaurant but other than that he's been great. He LOVES his new exersaucer and has been playing in it. He was having so much fun in it today that I had to snap a picture. He was so cute! I can't believe he is already starting to grab at toys! Time flies and they grow so fast!

A Sunny Weekend!
It was so nice this weekend! The weather was great! It was nice and sunny out so we spent most of the weekend outside. Emma has had a blast this weekend and has been so well behaved! We have played and played! Hagan is proving a little more difficult lately. My easy going child has turned into a very demanding child. He has decided that he hates his car seat and wants to be held all the time! I have been so frusterated about it and then this morning I was feeling all sorry for myself and wishing that he would hurry up and get past this stage. I had to run to Walmart at 7 am because I forgot I was supposed to bring breakfast to sunday school and on the way back this song came on the radio. It was called "You're gonna miss this". I started crying and cried the whole way home. (Hormones! LOL!) I guess it was God's way of saying savor the moment and enjoy your children because they grow up way too fast and you're going to miss this when they get older. It is funny how that song came on the radio as I was thinking those thoughts..God works in crazy ways! I am gonna miss this and I am so thankful my my 2 beautiful and healthy children for that is all I can ask for! Here are a few pics from our sunny day outside!

A Growing Boy and a Pretty Princess
Well we have had a very busy day. Today, Hagan had his 4 month appointment. I can't believe he is 4 months old already....oh how time flies! He is 15.1 lbs and 25 inches long. He is a growing boy. He had to get 5 shots today so he wasn't very happy about that but he is taking a really long nap right now. I guess the shots tired him out!
Emma had school pictures today so she wore her "princess dress" to school. We went and picked her up from school and when we got home we had a surprise package at the door. Keeping with the whole princess theme today... It was a Disney Princess Talking Kitchen!! I brought it inside and Emma said "Oh Mom I loves it!" She says the cutest things sometimes...I never know what is going to come out of her mouth. Well, we got in "Disney Princess" mode and started singing the songs from Cinderella. Here is Emma singing A Dream is a Wish A Heart Makes and she also had to add in Bringing Home a Baby Bumble Bee!

Ridin' With Daddy
Okay so I've already posted once today but Jason got home and Emma was dying to play with Daddy. Jason wanted to cut grass so he put Emma up on the lawn mower with him and they cut grass together. It was the cutest thing and of course I had to snap some pictures!
