Sorry it has taken me so long to post. We have been so busy around here. Hagan is still battling a cold and is on his second round of antibiotics. Emma is staying busy between school, dance and gymnastics. I am a chairperson for our big junior league event Holiday Market, which is now only a month away. I have been so busy trying to finalize everything for that and take care of the kids. I think Jason is just as ready as I am for it to be over with especially since about 15 women invaded his house last night for our invitation stuffing party. Anyways...sorry there isn't much to report on these days. The kids are growing like weeds. Hope to see you all very soon. Happy Fall Ya'll!

Outdoor Fun

"A mother's greatest joy in having a child is to give that child fully and freely to God"
We have had a good weekend despite the loss of the dawgs...don't know for sure what happened there?? Hagan and Emma had a fun day outside after their naps yesterday. They had fun on the swings and slide. Hagan wasn't too sure about the slide..lol! Emma is in this phase right now where she is really testing us. Jason and I have been at our wits end with her. I know it is just a phase but oh my goodness!! Anyways...we've been discussing it and venting about it and I sat down last night to do my bible study. It was about giving your children completely to the Lord. I just realized then that we just have to give everything completely to the Lord...that means our children, our lives, our marraige, everything. We just have to teach her right from wrong and to be a child of God. It is so hard sometimes to give everything completely to the Lord but he will surely bless us.
Here are some pictures of our outdoor fun!

Dress Up Time

Dress up time is fun time around our house. Emma has fully emersed herself in the whole princess thing. She loves dress up time and is 100% girl! Today she put on one of her outfits from Ma and Papa John. She decided to be Tinkerbell. She looked so cute and of course now we can't get it off of her. Bathtime should be fun tonight! The movie Tinkerbell comes out the end of October and we are anxiously awaiting its release. I thought I would share a few pictures from dress-up time and dancing with Daddy.

Well we are all set for the Georgia game tonight. The Rahn's are over and we are grilling steaks. You know you have to have steaks on for saturday football. Jason and Hagan are all decked out in their UGA gear and are ready to root on the dawgs! We have had a good weekend so far. Emma and Hagan want to say "Happy Birthday That Ma!" Anyways...I snapped some picture of Jason and Hagan and I thought I would share this precious picture I took of my two handsome men! Go Dawgs! Sic Em!

Hagan's 9 month checkup

Well we had Hagan's 9 month doctor's appointment today. He is a growing boy weighing in at 20 lbs 8 oz and 28 1/4 inches long. He had to have one shot which wasn't too bad. He had a small ear infection that they are treating with antibiotics. I can't believe he has one cause he hasn't fussed at all and has been sleeping as good as usual. Anyways...we've done pretty good if this is his first bout with being sick. I am heading to Little Rock today for a mini girls trip..yay! If I don't post again before friday...Have a great weekend!

Emma's 3rd Birthday Party
Well Ike made its way in and caused a good bit of rain so we had to improvise and move the party to the garage. Despite the weather, Emma had a great time! The Disney Princess combo Bouncer quickly became a waterslide/bouncer. Cinderella made a surprise visit to her party. Emma clung to her the whole time and she was quite upset when Cinderella had to leave and go back to her castle. We all had a blast and Emma loved all her gifts. We are so blessed to have such great friends and family. Thank you to all who came and helped make her party so great! She will be talking about this for weeks or months to come! Enjoy all the pictures:

Our Little Girl is 3!

I can't believe how much time flies! Emma turned 3 yesterday. Today is her birthday party but it looks like Ike might ruin it. We let her open a few gifts last night from family and she had a ball!! She loved all the stuff everyone gave her and played with it till 11 last night. She didn't want to go to bed. We are having a great visit with my family. I thought I would share a few pictures from the present opening last night but I will have LOTS more to share after her party tonight.

We made it through the week! Whewww!

I know! It has been a long time since my last post. I have been getting the emails wondering when I'm going to post again. Well this week has been crazy and exhausting. Jason was out of town this past week so we were by ourselves. My week filled up fast on my calendar. I think it was possibly the worst week Jason could've been gone but you can't help it when work calls. Tuesday Emma had to have some dental work done. They gave me some sedation medicine to give her before her appointment. When we got to the appointment I already knew the medication wasn't going to do it's job. It actually did the opposite. Emma was bouncing off the walls. I was a little worried but thought well the nitrous oxide should help. Well, for the nitrous to work you have to keep your mouth closed. Try telling a screaming almost 3 year old to sit still and keep her mouth closed...not going to happen! Anyways...Emma had to have all those shots and her teeth worked on wide awake. It broke my heart sitting there listening to her scream. I think I was crying harder than she was! If I could've traded places with her I would've done it in a heartbeat! Well, we made it through that and survived but I hope she never has to have anything done again! After all this I had Junior League and then the Growing Kids Sale. Needless to say we were BUSY BUSY!! Thursday morning Emma woke up with her eye swollen shut. I didn't know if she had pink eye or was having an allergic reaction. Well, we went to the doctor and it turns out a bug bit her eye. What else can happen to her!
Well, we have now made it through the week and on a lighter note we are getting ready for Emma's 3rd Birthday! I'm so excited and so is she! We are having a Cinderella birthday party. I rented a Disney Princess bouncer and Cinderella is coming to pay Emma a visit! I can't believe my little girl is about to be 3! Hagan is growing like a weed and is like a true McCormick...he LOVES to eat! He is like his momma in one way...he is the most laid back baby! Ahh he is so sweet and is so happy all of the time. He is cutting 4 teeth right now so he has been a little cranky but is still sweet as pie! Well I will try and do better this week with the posts. Here are some pictures of Hagan eating this morning. Daddy and him were having a good time eating!
